These terms cover the PoloDeck marketing site (polodeck.app) and the app (game.polodeck.app). Using either means you accept what's below.

Operating entity

PoloDeck (ABN 65 164 595 896) is the operator of this service. We're based in Sydney, Australia. Contact us at hello@polodeck.app.

Acceptable use

PoloDeck is built for a respectful sport. When you use it, please:

  • Don't abuse, harass or impersonate other users — coaches, players, referees or delegates.
  • Don't upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or that you don't have the right to share.
  • Don't reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to access PoloDeck other than through the interfaces we provide.
  • Don't interfere with the service, attempt to circumvent our security controls, or use PoloDeck to attack other systems.

If you do, we may suspend or close your account.

Beta product disclaimer

PoloDeck is in beta. It's free during beta, features may change without notice, and there's no service-level guarantee of uninterrupted access. The product is provided “as is” with no warranties — express or implied — of fitness for any particular purpose. We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it will never have downtime, bugs, or sync delays.

Account responsibilities

You're responsible for the activity on your account, including:

  • Keeping your magic-link email address current and secure.
  • The accuracy of the game data, assessments and notes you log.
  • The decisions you make about who to share locked reports with — recipients see what the share grants, so it's on you to share thoughtfully.

Locked report content & ownership

You remain the owner of the game data, assessments and notes you create. You grant PoloDeck a limited licence to process, store, sync and surface that content as needed to operate the service for you and the recipients you share with — and nothing more. We don't use your content to train external models or to advertise to third parties.

Pricing & paid tiers

Beta access is free. Paid tiers (Club and Federation) have pricing that's still being finalised — “TBD” means TBD. We'll communicate pricing to you before any charge is made, and you'll have the chance to decide whether to continue.

Termination

Either of us can end the relationship at any time. You can close your account and request a data export or deletion by emailing hello@polodeck.app. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that put the service or other users at risk.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of PoloDeck is capped at the greater of AUD $100 or the fees you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of profits, loss of data beyond what reasonable backups would cover, or loss of opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll let you know — by email or in-app — when something material changes. Continued use of PoloDeck after the change takes effect counts as acceptance of the updated terms. If you don't agree, you can close your account.
